Lifetails is the app I think of every time I open an old folder and old photos appear. The one I wish I'd had years ago, when Neko and Tofu came home and became family.

Because that's what they are: family. Not a metaphor, not a fond way of speaking. Family. And family deserves a place that holds everything: the first day at home, the video of the moment they learned to drink from the tap, the quirks. And also the weight, the food brand, the vaccines.

Lifetails is that place. The side that usually gets lost along the way: the scattered photos, the videos across four folders, the notes you wrote somewhere and can no longer find. And also the practical side of care —health, routines, reminders. In the end, their story.

And it's a shared home: the partner who cares for them with you, the friend who looks after them when you travel, the vet who needs the full history, the grandparents you send photos to. A pet lives in many hands. So should their story.

Who am I? Someone who tries three brands before they'll eat one. Someone who goes to the vet at midnight. Someone who writes down the weight every month and saves every video, even when I can't remember which folder. I'm building Lifetails so all of that lives in one place. And so I'll still have it twenty years from now.
